Description
Seven Times Brighter written by Cath Sheridan. But….. wait, there is one, who licks his lips and wriggles his wizened fingers at the thought of getting his filthy hands on you and I and our valuable treasure and he is a master of illusion and trickery – and he is an extremely patient observer. So, as we begin to dig into the one who created our treasure, to find the purpose we were created for; to find the crazy wonderful ‘ME’; we must first learn how to outsmart the one who knows its value and potential – way more than we know ourselves!
As we get to witness the promises and purposes of our wonderful Father (our Dad) unfold, against a backdrop of heartbreak and loss, we also get to see how Satan strategically builds a database of unique intelligence around the general weaknesses of humankind. In this honest, raw, often funny, often tender; yet heart wrenching and gritty retelling, Cath walks us through her ‘whole’ story. Using her wonderfully vivid and visionary storytelling style, that draws readers right into the room with her, this book gloriously unveils the divine calling on our lives, whilst shining a spotlight on how the great deceiver comes to steal, kill and destroy.
This is no ordinary story. This is a story that belongs to us all. This is a story about treasure…treasure, that if used well and as intended, will not only set us up for greatness, but also deliver the plans and purposes of heaven. It’s not financial treasure, no, it’s way more valuable than that – this treasure is you and it’s me – we are the treasure, we are heaven’s solutions. We carry the crazy wonderful purposes that heaven is depending on. That heaven designed with precision and placed deliberately within us before our precious feet touched this earth. Yes, we arrived with a mission!
It serves as both a promise and a warning!

Amazing book! This book is so much more than I expected. It spoke to me on so many different levels. It touched my heart which makes it a love story, it revealed the enemy’s schemes which makes it a prophetic awakening and it helped me to find my God given purpose which makes it a tool for life. It’s not just another Christian book, it not like any other Christian book I’ve read. It’s a book about a woman who truly knows Jesus and has lived her life in complete faith, allowing him to take the lead even when that meant walking through some dark valleys and over some big mountains. Cath Sheridan has a beautiful way of sharing her own truths and pain in a way that we can all relate to in our own lives and she does that along side giving us all hope that when we begin to discover our true identity and purpose and absolutely trust in God, ‘crazy bonkers miracles’ can happen!

I just finished this book. Wow! Amazing. Can’t wait to hand some copies out!
Love the whole journey and the self-discovery and realizing that we are who we are from the
beginning. I loved how the monologues helped tie the spiritual and physical together and give a simplified visual to what was taking place. Def would recommend to friends and have a couple of
people I’d like to give it to.
It challenged me to dig deeper.
It’s almost impossible to define this book as it’s crammed with treasure, but for me, I guess I would say its about – Walking through a difficult season hand in hand with God. It’s full of Grace, healing, discovery of self and potential and worth.

A unique style and packed with twists and turns more incredible than the last, this story will entrance you and shape you. I had a profound experience midway through, I found that my strict and structured Catholic prayer habits were replaced almost overnight by a new personal dialogue, a fresh Informal and much more personal connection….the Author taught me that although God is ‘The Father’ he’s really our ‘Dad’ and since this realisation I have spoken with him as such . I have never felt lighter and more connected to him. I truly had a ‘moment of Impact’ here, and then again throughout the closing chapters. For that I am truly grateful and forever changed. I have , and will continue to share this message at every opportunity. A must read!
From the first page to the last this story took me on a spiritual journey of overwhelming love, loss , courage , hope , triumph and faith. It demonstrated that what goes on in the dark will always come to the light, and without always realising, God’s gentle hands are there supporting us whilst our search for love and meaning transcends the many challenges and opportunities we encounter. Our own ‘moments of impact’ and our journey towards God’s love ensure we grow and learn through myriad ways.
Never felt as connected spiritually by a book since reading The Shack …This Author is an exciting newcomer with one heck of a story to tell…. I defy you not to be moved. Can’t help thinking this is
just the beginning, and I’m very excited to see where she takes us next!

Congratulations on a masterpiece!
A page-turner, couldn’t put it down. The detail allows readers to actually feel they were in the room with the author. It gives a beautiful glimpse in to what a life can look like when we let God in. The message will give food-for-thought long after the book has been put down. This story in parts reminds me very much of The Shack, how close God is if we allow Him in.

What I loved about this book is how it seemed to grow from a narrative/story with a timeline that the author tells so well, into all sorts of growth and learning and revelatory moments.
I loved that she doesn’t hide the gritty parts. My heart hurt reading some of it, but we are all literally longing to hear someone say they’ve been there too. The triumphal moments of healing and renewed faith and vision aren’t much without the honesty of the pain of the human experience. It doesn’t matter to me how real and amazing God is to you, unless I know you can bleed and hurt the same way I can. I love the way some practical thoughts are rolled in amidst the storytelling, on how the devil actually works/chips away at us. Where footholds begin and the general human weakness. That’s where this story becomes everyone’s story and the truths/experiences can now be applied. We really are all vulnerable to the same things and have mostly the same needs. I think the best feature of the book is that it’s a story of journeying with God through it all. He is, after all, the only guarantee – the only absolute we have. I think it properly directs the readers heart
and mind to developing a rock-solid faith in Christ- that can withstand the unknowns, the gut punches, mountains and valleys that we will inevitably all face. We live by faith!
Totally love how this book starts off with a bang, letting readers know what it’s really all about. I
heard someone say very recently that if the devil is walking the earth right now, we won’t find him in a nightclub or a drug house, but that we might find him behind a pulpit, with a PhD; drawing a pay check for denying his own existence. I shivered when I read it because it’s so true. I love how this
book comes right out and talks about his strategy to derail our lives and how he works in the details. Cath unpacks this so well.
One of my favourite things about how the book unfolds is how it goes from a story with a timeline, into a journey that is unapologetically “unfinished”….Hope comes as readers are able to identify with
RIGHT now, that our own stories are unfinished too. And that it’s not about the story- or the ending- but about finding HIM. That definitely shines through.
As I progressed through each chapter, I sensed an evolution, even in the writing style; almost a stripping away. I could literally feel the world changing around her and the sense of freedom and peace (and hope restored).
It’s been years and years since I read it, but all the time I was reading this book I kept being
reminded of “This Present Darkness” by Frank Peretti? Another brilliant read, with lots of exposure on spiritual warfare.
Another of my highlight moments, and the author hit it right out of the park with this, was when after a big revelation she went back and talked about the “unauthorized information”… SUCH a misunderstood topic and a lot of people would avoid it, but I thought it was great. She kind of went back and unpacked how it had affected or even swayed her decisions and how even though there was an actual supernatural force
at work- that it wasn’t ‘for good’. Christians don’t delve into (for fear of being “out there” or lack
of understanding…or whatever) but the truth is those things are swirling all around us and the devil would most certainly love to keep us all ignorant of it. I love that she didn’t shy away from it. It’s all very exposing, and that’s kind of exciting!

This book has had such a profound impact on me. I’ve not been able to put it down and found myself waking up in the night and going downstairs to read another few chapters. It has ignited something in me that I haven’t felt for years and have just come back from the shops after hunting down a journal which I felt compelled to start writing myself. I haven’t finished the book yet but I’ve been so impacted by what I’ve read so far that I had to do this review now to urge everyone who’s debating whether to get a copy to grab it quick otherwise you’ll definitely miss out on something very special and potentially life changing.

There is so much I want to say about this book, it feels impossible to articulate. It was a page turner from beginning to end and I felt Like my heart was taken on the most incredible journey. I didnt want to put down and I’m usually a slow reader. I’ve no idea how this author manages to literally pull you in to every page and every scene, but she does. You can feel every emotion she’s going through. And the spiritual scenes are so clever and thought provoking. It has made me look at things from a very different perspective and I find I’m continually thinking about it all now.
I actually feel like I’ve been changed by this book and my faith has grown so much, I’m convinced that every single person who reads is going to be changed and impacted in some way.
It’s become favourite book ever!
