Towards Effective Teaching, Jesus gave His disciples their Great Commission at the end of the Gospel of Matthew. It is a call to all Christians to help people become followers of Jesus and to live a Christian life modelled on Christian principles. To do this Christians are required to teach.
Teaching is not something that comes naturally to many people. It is an art to be learnt. Whether as church leader, or simply as a committed Christian we will all become more effective if we take time to learn and continue learning to be able to teach more effectively. What better way than to learn from Jesus whose teachings have transformed millions of lives and continue to transform our world.
