About the Authors

Lin has been a Christian for the last 50 years. She has served the church as a Bible teacher and has enjoyed working with children and young people for many years. She has been on the leadership team of her church for the last few years as Deacon and Church Secretary.

Barbara came to faith in the early 70’s. At that time the Lord brought her through a very difficult period in her life, having foolishly opened herself to a hypnotist. God graciously delivered her and over the years has enabled her to help others who had similar problems.

Just published! The book Christian Poems – Honouring Christ by S. K. Haddad. This poetry book deals with Christian topics that are found in the Bible, and there is much written about the Lord Jesus Christ.

There are some poems of nature, for God is the Creator, and some poems of oppression because sinful actions are a consequence of the Fall.

About Author

Dr S. K. Haddad was born in Palestine to Lebanese parents. He came to England to study Medicine, which he did at the universities of Cambridge and London. He specialized in Neurosurgery and worked in this field.

Graham says about the book:

“Part 1 covers the lives of the young Graham and Audrie (Aud) Martin, how we got hitched, the beginnings of our spiritual journeys, and then gradually follows on to how, at 60 years old, I experienced a complete mental breakdown involving multiple attempts to take my own life and a 12-week spell in a secured psychiatric unit. It is intended that my recollections of this truly horrendous time, and particularly how I survived, will enable anyone presently undergoing anything remotely similar to have genuine hope. 

Every tunnel, no matter how dark, has a light at the end when Christ is involved, even if this cannot be perceived at the time. About Author

Graham is a retired civil engineer and although this is his first actual book (assuming a bound MSc dissertation doesn’t count), the fact that he has produced numerous related reports means that he is very used to writing English, albeit in a somewhat different genre. In addition, Graham’s work as an expert witness for various clients, including Railtrack/ Network Rail has honed his research and summarising skills. Finally, this book has enabled me to periodically indulge my penchant for writing humour, which has thus far been limited to speech-making.

Ahab, The Real Authority Behind Jezebel by Sandi Niven focuses on Ahab, and the spiritual power they have over the person with a Jezebel spirit.

 The author outlines in her book that all authority that a Jezebel spirit has over a person who has the Jezebel spirit comes from a person with the Ahab spirit. Ahab’s Characteristics / Personality Traits

To understand how the Ahab spirit opens the door to Jezebel and her cohorts we need to look at what constitutes an Ahab-type personality. This means we need to look at Ahab, the person, to see who we’re dealing with. What is it about him that gives Jezebel authority?

Once I understood that this Ahab spirit, or personality type, was the open door which gave Jezebel authority and power, things became a whole lot clearer.

Instead of closing the door to the one who relegates or even delegates that authority, we have focussed on the Jezebel spirit and left the door of access wide open. This, I believe, is the reason we’ve been so ineffective in dealing with the spirit of Jezebel and, as we will later see, the spirit of divination.
